For the Show and Tell, the challenge is to send us a photo showing movement. Send it to dianebohlen@gmail.com.

The main topic on 3 April will be about Macro, Micro and Close Up Photography. We will discuss the differences between these types of photography, the gear you need and tips on how to do it with any type of camera including the phone.

The challenge for Wednesday's Show and Tell: Send us a photo showing narrow Depth of Field. Send it to dianebohlen@gmail.com.

The main topic will be Adding a Sense of Motion to Improve your Photos.
You may want to sharply focus on subjects in the foreground, you may want to blur certain elements in the image or you may want to freeze everything, depending on the purpose of the photo.

For the Show and Tell, the challenge is to send us a photo where you have used natural light to highlight the subject one way or another. dianebohlen@gmail.com

For the main topic, by popular demand is about using settings on our cameras. So bring your cameras or smart phones along.

We will discuss the exposure triangle which includes understanding Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO.
We will touch on White Balance and Depth of Field.
