The new U3A Photography Basics Class has now been set up. Members of the class will be shown how to improve their photos by composing an image in a pleasing way. They will be shown how to properly utilise light and colour to improve an image. They will also learn how to capture that iconic moment and take improved photos of grandchildren, travels, birds, pets and flowers.
They will be taught how it is important for a photo to tell a story, evoke emotion and engage the viewer.
It doesn't matter what sort of camera you use. From a mobile phone, a simple point and shoot camera up to a DSLR camera, everyone will be able to improve their photography.
The lessons will start on Wednesday 7 February 2018, 10am till 11.30am at the Elements Living Community Centre and from then, every first and third Wednesday of the month during school terms.
